The Rector of the Sant'Anna School, Sabina Nuti, and the Director of the Postal Police Operational Center for Tuscany, Lorena La Spina, signed the agreement protocol for preventing and combating computer crimes to protect information systems and technological infrastructure in use at the Sant'Anna School. The Parties are committed to sharing intervention procedures to constantly improve incident response capability, which is based, first and foremost, on the timely and mutual exchange of useful news. In fact, the circularity of the information flow, which allows for the real-time availability of fundamental news on the nature and methods of realization of possible attacks, constitutes an essential tool to fuel prevention and repression strategies in the delicate field of cybersecurity protection.

It is, moreover, foreseen that special training meetings dedicated to the topic of cybersecurity will be held and new technologies implemented, aimed at enhancing the levels of prevention and countering of cyber crimes against the systems managed by the Sant'Anna School. The Protocol is a fundamental step in the progressive construction of an increasingly structured prevention system, which implies the necessary contribution, alongside the Postal Police of the other institutional actors involved and the most qualified representatives of the business world. It is, moreover, a sector of security on which the effects related to a very delicate and unstable international scenario have particularly affected, due to the continuation of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, from which has resulted a significant increase in episodes on a national basis, especially to the damage of financial institutions, as well as Entities and companies operating in other strategic sectors for our country.

The document was signed in the presence of the Questore of Pisa, Gaetano Bonaccorso.
